
Constance Marie Lopez, born September 9, 1965 is an American actress from the United States. She is well-known for her roles in the film Selena as Angie Lopez in George Lopez (2002-2007), and Marcela Quintanilla (mother of Selena) in the movie Selena (1997). She was Regina Vasquez's character in ABC Family/Freeform drama Switched at Birth (2011-17). She is currently in Camila Diaz, the lead character in the Amazon Prime Video drama series Undone (1999). Marie started her acting career when she was in her teens. She landed a spot in the film Salsa. Other film and television credits include Early Edition, Dirty Dancing, Selena, Spin City, and Ally McBeal. Marie was selected to play the role of Angie Lopez in the ABC comedy series George Lopez. Marie was the lead in the 2001 comedy-drama Tortilla Soup, alongside Jacqueline Obradors and Hector Elizondo. She was also a part of the PBS drama series American Family. Her clothing line was launched "The Constance Marie" in October 2007. She was also in an ad campaign for PETA in the same year, urging pet owners to spay/neuter their animals. 3 Marie played the lead role in Switched at Birth on ABC Family/Freeform from 2011 until 2017.
