sylvester stalloneSylvester Stallone was originally born July 6, 1946 in Hell's Kitchen as Michael Sylvester Gardenzio Stallone. The elder child of the Italian born Francesco "Frank" Stallone Sr hairdresser, as well as Jackie Stallone, an astrologer and dancer. Frank Stallone is his younger brother and actor. Sylvester was left paralyzed on the left lower part of his face because of complications during birth. He now has his famous "snarling" expression and slightly his voice is slurred. Due to the conflicting relationships between his parents, Stallone spent his first years in foster care. They divorced after a while. Stallone was a drama student at American College in Switzerland, before transferring to the University of Miami. Before completing his degree, he left school and moved to New York City in order to pursue a career in acting.
