Ali MacGraw
Ali studied at Wellesley College, where she was a student of art history. She worked for magazines that focused on fashion after her graduation. Her interest in fashion photography made her an elite model. A occupation she maintained until 1968, when she got a late start on what would become an sporadic career in film which was largely because of her union with Steve McQueen. Despite this, she made some films that proved to be a huge success. Today, the ex-star lives surprisingly modestly and is a solitary person in New Mexico. The lessons I've learned since then are that the survival of success is all about doing the work to find out who you truly are to ensure that you don't identify your identity by the opinions of others about the person you are.
