Niykee's personal highlights include being selected by a scout to join Snoop on the YouTube Brandcast, in May 2013 and composing songs, despite the turbulence of the past few years. As a producer magnet, Niykee constantly sifts through the numerous beats being sent to her. She finds that most are a source of new music ideas. In just 5 minutes when I'm able to determine the beat's worthwhile. Then I am able to see the concept of a song's whole concept in my brain and I start to write. My guitar sits on the back porch and I let the lyrics flow. Most of the time, it's done in less than 30 minutes. Niykee has found that her memories of pain provide an endless source of ideas. It's difficult to escape the painful memories of my youth, especially the loss of my sister. The memories end up getting integrated into her music. The memories influence my songs and builds this deeper understanding behind all things that's an important thing that I value. It is important to me to realize that I could listen to any of my music 20 years later and be happy with what I had to say.
