Lis Wiehl (born September 19, 1960) was born on 19 August 1961. She is an American writer and former legal analyst for Fox News.
Her previous position was as associate professor of law at The University of Washington Law School. She offered legal analysis on Bill O'Reilly's Radio Factor as well as National Public Radio. She appears weekly on The O'Reilly Factor. The Kelly File w/ Megyn Kelly. Lou Dobbs Presently. The Imus breakfast show. Legal Lis is the Legal Lis podcast and radio show.
Wiehl is she is a Yakima native who graduated from West Valley High School. She has a diploma of Barnard College (1983), an MA in Arts in Literary Studies at the University of Queensland (1985), and an Doctor of Jurisprudence (JD) from Harvard Law School (1997).
Wiehl worked as a prosecutor in the US Attorney's Office. She served as the legal correspondent on NPR All Things Considered. She was "the the deputy chief investigator for Democrats in the House Judiciary Committee at the moment of Clinton's impeachment." She was a law professor as a tenured professor at University of Washington School of Law Seattle in charge of the Trial Advocacy Program from 1995 through 2001. Wiehl served as an analyst for Fox News Legal Analyst from 2001 to 2017.
