Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe comes from a multi-cultural household. Born in South London. Her father is Nigerian-Swiss while her mother was English. She was raised in a council estate located south of London. In the ages of 14, she attended The Brit School. She pursued acting studies in The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, London. At the academy, she appeared in numerous stage productions, such as King Henry V as Princess Katherine and Wuthering Heights as Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe first began her acting career with the film Storm Damage. Since then, she's been a guest star in Teachers, Doctors, Casualty, and Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe's debut film appearance was in Woody Allen's 2007 Cassandra's Dream opposite Colin Farrell, Ewan McGregor. Following this acclaim, she appeared as Elisha in The BBC Three drama pilot West 10 LDN and was featured for six seasons Trexx as well as Flipside. Madekwe played Bambi on The ITV2 series Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Madekwe also played the title character in How to lose friends & betray people and be apathetic, which premiered on Sony Pictures Entertainment back in the year 2008. Some of her theatre credits are Little Sweet Thing (by Roy Williams) and Flight Path (by David Watson).
Madekwe was chosen to play Ashley Davenport on the ABC drama The Beautiful Life. The two-episode series aired for just two weeks on The CW and then it ended. Ashley Davenport appeared in ABC drama Revenge as of February 2011. The show premiered in May 2013 and it was revealed that Madekwe, who had played a regular role in the past two seasons, would be leaving the show with a guest appearance on the first episode of the new season. Between 2014 and 2016, Madekwe was a star as Tituba in the TV series Salem. Madekwe, along with her boyfriend of many years, Iddo Goldenberg, were married in June 2012. The two have collaborated on Secret Diary of a Call Girl as well as he is also a part of the cast on the TV show Salem.

Ashley Leggat, an actress nominated twice for a Gemini Award, is a member of the large Hamilton family. Her parents, Roy and Patty along with her four brothers, Brett, Todd, and Bram, were all present. Ashley was raised in the arenas and baseball fields because her brothers, who were all athletic, played hockey and baseball and both in the winter and summer. Ashley did not walk; instead, she would dance. When she was two and half she discovered Baby Ballet. Ashley became passionate about dance immediately after that. Until she graduated from High School, Ashley danced competitively in the top divisions in tap, jazz, ballet, pointe, acrobatics, lyrical, musical theatre and hip-hop. Ashley took home the best soloist honor at each major dance contest, which included International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance and many more, just to mention the few.
