Dua Lipa Dua Lipa, an English singer-songwriter was born in London, on 22 August 1995. After working as a fashion model and songwriter, she decided to sign with Warner Bros Records and release her debut album titled "Dua Lipa" in 2017. The album peaked at 3rd place on the U.K. Albums Chart and was followed by eight singles including Be the One I.D.G.A.F and the U.K. number-one track New Rules which peaked at 6th on the charts in the United States. Lipa has been awarded Brit Awards 2018 in two categories: British Female Artist, British Breakthrough Act, and British. Additionally, the platinum-certified album is a coveted honor throughout the world. Future Nostalgia's second studio album was published in the year 2020. Let's celebrate the special occasion of Dua Lipa here. Dua Lipa was born on 22nd August 1995 in London in the UK to Kosovo Albanian Anesa Rexha, and Dukagjin Lipa. She has Bosnian roots through her grandmother. She can trace her ancestry back to Peja, a city in Kosovo. The two grandfathers of Lipa were historians. Gjin along with Rina are her siblings. Lipa began to learn how guitar playing and sing from her father Oda. He is the lead singer/guitarist of Kosovan's band Oda. At home her father continued playing music which included his music and compositions, as well as songs of David Bowie Bob Dylan Radiohead Sting The Police and Stereophonics. Lipa began singing at age five. In the year she turned nine years old, Lipa started to sing at the Sylvia Young Theater School. Lipa covered Beautiful by Christina Aguilera as well as If I Ain't got You By Alicia Keys on YouTube. Lipa was offered an recording deal by Warner Bros. Records in 2014. In August of 2015 her first single New Love came out.
